I sometimes think people really can’t understand darkness until they feel it.

…ld die. A million or more even, but on the grand scale, it was a raindrop in the ocean of humanity. Washington would be obliterated. The institutions of war and corruption would burn into the ether. The world would stand still. There would be a conscious accounting of how far the world had strayed from truth.
